As you may remember, the 2019 SEMA Show was our first time attending the one-of-a-kind event. The next day we were already making plans to attend in 2020. We had no idea what was about to happen just a few months later. After a long 3 year wait, we we’re back in Las Vegas.

This time though, there is one complaint… Why was it warmer in Ottawa than Vegas?! Don’t worry, the sights and sounds at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) definitely made up for the cool temperatures.

Just like last time there were builds representing all styles from the automotive world. Lifted trucks to lowered tuners, builds mild to wild and classics were very well represented as always. Odds are your type of ride was there somewhere.

If you don’t know about the SEMA Show, you probably found our website by accident. Just kidding! Let’s give a brief reminder about what the show is. The annual SEMA Show is a trade show hosted by the Specialty Equipment Market Association aka SEMA. It fills the LVCC and there is now more room to fill than last time we were there. Since 2019, the LVCC has built a new hall to the west of the existing convention centre buildings. This event is where manufacturers come to show off their new products to an audience of potential buyers and media. We’ll be featuring some Cool Parts found at the show over the upcoming weeks and months.

This year, keeping up with the latest trends, there was a dedicated area for overlanding rigs and many exhibitors showing off the latest in vinyl wraps and paint protection films. There was also a lot of new tech for your rides whether modern or classic. Oh, and a lot of wicked electric cars. I can’t believe I’m saying it either, but it’s true. We even spotted the new Charger EV.

Stay tuned for our coverage of the SEMA Ignited parade and after party.
