Almonte Car Show

What a fantastic turnout. Parking for 150 cars and we managed to squeeze in 280.  A very special thanks goes out to Roger McGetchie and his parking crew for pulling this off. I dont know how he did this but he is the parking myster. Another very special thanks to the HWY 43 Car Club, without their help this would not have happened. WE managed to raise $4000.00 for the Almonte Hospital.  Thanks to all the cars that showed and thanks to all the sponsors that made this happen.

Verona Car Show August 2017

The day was perfect with no rain in sight. The Ottawa convoy headed out for a  scenic 1 1/2 drive. This show draws a lot of attention due to its mega prizes. About 250 cars showed.  The 50/50 was around $700  The grand prize was an all expense paid trip to Vegas. So, the winner was our very own Roger (Hot Wheels 70 Chevy) McGetchie. Roger and Jodie attend most cars shows with both cars, so this is a well deserved win. Jodie also ended up winning her class. What a way to end the day. I have never seen Jodie so exited and you should have seen the dust she laid down racing up to the podium to pick up the tickets. CONGRATS   Enjoy the pics.

Syracuse Nationals July 2017

Once again the Ottawa gang headed south to the N.Y State Fair Grounds for the biggest car show in the east. Between the million dollar builds and the home built rat rods, it was a feast of eye candy goodness. At night time you park your chair and cooler at the curb and watch the action roll by.   Enjoy the pics.

Carp Car Show July 08 2017

The weather looked threatening, but held off, and about 100 hardy souls showed up for this show. With all the rain we have had this year it was nice to get out to a dry event. The Ottawa gang managed to take home a lot of hardware, bird cage and all. Enjoy the pics

Ogdensburg CarBQ Car Show

What a nice day for a car show. I love shows near water. All car shows should be like this. On grass and near a lake or river with a nice breezeto keep you cool. Under a tree in the shade sipping on a cool beer. Yes, they had a home brew beer stand there.

May 27th Monkey Joes Cruise In

Well, 1/2 of the Ottawa Car Scene crew did the ol’ Cruising Carling from Kanata Ribfest to Monkey Joes….The ol’ road sure is gettin lumpy in its old age….I guess too many runs back in the day has taken its toll…..Well, Food was awesome, company was better, timing is everything….We got there nice and early and commandeered a breezy corner on the patio for a great event. I was busy handing out show Flyers so Jodie took Camera Control on this one…She even did the quick editing before posting as well…Man that was hard work for me hah hah hah..
